Holloman Air Force Base proposes to use the Red Rio Bombing Area on White Sands Missile Range for military testing. Three previously recorded sites fall within the test area. Site LA 59153 is within a proposed target area. Sites LA 59141 and LA 59152 are within a potential impact area.

Data recovery was conducted at Sites LA 59141 (HSR 8534-08) and LA 59150 (HSR 8534-17), and in two areas of Site LA 59151 (HSR 8534-18). These data- recovery activities included mapping and collection of all surface artifacts on all three sites and extensive subsurface excavations at Sites LA 59141 and LA 59151, Area B.
