Ecological Communications Corporation (EComm) conducted a Class III inventory for three proposed alignment alternatives for reconstruction of the Prather Waterline, a pipeline that presently serves Holloman Air Force Base (HAFB) as part of the jointly operated City of Alamogordo-HAFB Bonito Water System. The archeological survey documented five previously recorded sites, three newly recorded sites, eight isolated occurrences, and two roadside memorials (descansos).

PNM proposes to construct a new 115kV transmission line parallel to and south of the Holloman Air Force Base Spur, within the corridor of land acquired by Holloman Air Force Base at the time it constructed the railway. The survey was a Class III 100 percent pedestrian inspection. The Holloman Spur was recorded as Site LA 155866, as it was built between 1955 and 1960.
