Three archaeological surveys have been conducted along parallel transects through west-central Arizona: the Museum of Northern Arizona's survey of the Mead to Phoenix powerline right-of-way, SWCA's survey of Mead to Phoenix project construction access roads, and Archaeological Research Services's survey of the U.
