The Fitch Site designated AZ:U:9:1 (ASU), is a Classic Period site of the Hohokam chronology. It is situated just north of Mesa, Arizona, on the second south terrace of the Salt River. In a continuing effort to comply with Section 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended, Avon Park Air Force Range, Florida, conducted two Phase I archaeological surveys, in the Fall of 1998 and in the Spring of 1999.
