Salt River Project has constructed a 500kV transmission line from Boulder City, Nevada, to near Phoenix, Arizona; Site 26CK3216 was first recorded by the Museum of Northern Arizona (MNA) during archaeological survey of the Mead to Phoenix right-of-way (Keller 1986). The site was originally recommended for data recovery but was determined ineligible for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), and construction proceeded without additional investigation.
