Mariah Associates, Inc. completed a Class Ill cultural resource inventory of the sanitary landfill on Kirtland Air Force Base, Bernalillo County, New Mexico. Site LA 72048 comprises a U-shaped mound that partially surrounds a depression, stains, a rock alignment, and an extensive midden deposit. It lies on a bench southeast of Tijeras Arroyo in Bernalillo County, New Mexico (Douglas H. M. Boggess, personal communication August 11, 2016).
