Multiple views of an Early Archaic bifurcate, identified by Kevin Smith and photographed by Nathan Arndt. Length = 21.8 mm, Width = 27.6 mm, Thickness = 6.1 mm, Onondaga chert, Early Archaic Fragmentary bifurcate point, similar to Macorkle type, with wide, expanding haft element ending in outflaring rounded ears flanking a broad, shallow concavity. Lamoka Point (4 views). Feature 34 was relatively small (46 cm x 20 cm) and excavated to a depth of 46 cm. Beside the Lamoka point, the feature contained 19 chert flakes and some charcoal. the function of this feature is uncertain. It is located just inside the wall of an Iroquoian longhouse. The charcoal was submitted to Beta Analytic for AMS dating (Beta-220574). The sample had a measured radiocarbon age of 300+or - 40 B.P. with a conventional radiocarbon age of 240 + or - 40. A two...
