Archaeological investigations of the testing area were conducted in advance of ground disturbing activities for road improvements along 67th Avenue, Phoenix. The targeted testing area includes the projected locations of three canals, and a minimum of 250 ft on either side of their trajectories, to allow for error in their plotted locations.
