Archaeological investigations at 38DR375-Locus 1 identified two distinct occupations: an early eighteenth- to mid-nineteenth-century occupation related to Clay Hill Plantation activities and a late nineteenth- to early twentieth-century tenant farm settlement. This is an Arizona Site Steward file for the Hardt Hillfort site, comprised of a compound and room block with accompanying wall enclosure, artifact scatter, and shrine-like structure, located on Tonto National Forest land.
