Peacekeeper Program Component Effect Report #1 Weapons Storage Area (1984)
A cultural resources survey of the Weapons Storage Area (WSA) Component impact area resulted in the discovery of one previously unknown archeological site (48-LA-71C). The Air Force, in consultation with the Wyoming State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO), has determined that this site is not eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). This document is for an inter-tidal and underwater archaeological survey of the VAFB Boathouse embayment conducted April 28-29, 1978. This survey was undertaken to obtain additional cultural resources data for the Space and Missile Systems Organization (SAMSO) and to complete a Phase I archaeological survey and resource evaluation.
