Cultural Resource Inventory Report Com-Line Construction Discovery, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming (1985)
On 30 May 1985, during construction of an underground communications line, the construction contractor encountered the remains of a buried foundation (48LA71GG). After inspection by the base archaeologist, the foundation was determined to be that of building T541 associated with the hospital section of the WWII era Quartermaster Replacement Center. The site is considered to be not eligible for the National Register of Historic Places and no further work is recommended.
Cultural Resource Inventory Report: Frontier Avenue Survey East, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, August 1985 (1985)
During the week of 13 August 1985, a pedestrian cultural resource survey was conducted on the parcel of land between Frontier Avenue and Diamond Creek. The survey area consisted of approximately 38 acres. Two sites and one isolated artifact were located. Prehistoric site 48LA555 does not appear to be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. One historic site, 48LA71HH, could not be identified from historic documents and should be considered eligible pending further investigation....
