An archaeological inventory was conducted by MAAR Associates. Inc. at Fort Lee, Prince George County. Virginia. This study resulted in the identification of 99 prehistoric and historic sites. This Executive Summary provides a brief description of New South Associates archaeological investigations of four sites located at Shaw Air Force Base's Poinsett Electronic Combat Range, Sumter County, South Carolina. These sites were initially identified in several surveys and/ or studies. The sites investigated included two prehistoric occupation sites, 38SU18 and 38SU243 and two historic sites dating from the late 19th and early twentieth century, 38SU150 and 38SU196.
