The Museum of Northern Arizona investigated four sites along the Silver King to Kyrene, East End, Transmission System. NA15,693 is the remains of a portion of the Magma Arizona Railroad Company narrow gauge line and associated features. The line was used between 1915 and 1923 to haul freight, passengers, and mail between Superior and Webster (Magma Junction). The Museum of Northern Arizona conducted archaeological investigations at site NA 15, 718. The site is located in the Tonto National Forest, northwest of Superior, Arizona. Investigations revealed a moderately dense sherd and lithic scatter. There are 11 cobble features, 6 of which are check dams, 4 are habitation units and the remaining feature has an unknown function.
