The Bravo Central and Charlie Flank Towers score air-to-ground deliveries of ordnance on bombing and gunnery ranges. In addition to routine maintenance, one or more of the towers have their handrails, roofs, windows, and catwalk walking surfaces replaced. In a continuing effort to comply with Section 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended, Avon Park Air Force Range, Florida, conducted two Phase I archaeological surveys, in the Fall of 1998 and in the Spring of 1999.
