Ellis (a.k.a. Deemer, Schultz, Windom) is located in the town of Orchard Park, Erie County. It is believed to date to between A.D. 1600 and 1625 based on the glass bead assemblage. Sample = 263 vessels (anonymous = 163, Carleton Conklin of Collins = 47, Buffalo Museum of Science = 42, Gordon Schmahl = 11). These ceramics were recorded in 1977.
