Footer
Part of: Iroquoian Ceramic Data
Footer, Can 29-3, is a Seneca site located in Ontario County, Bristol Township on the Canandaigua quad. It is believed to date to the last half of the 14th century. Sample = 616 vessels, all from the Rochester Museum and Science Center. Internal provenience information is recorded in columns 3 and 4 but the map referring to internal provenience cannot be located. However, it is known that scattered finds and finds on the surface are coded as 00. If sherds came from 2 or more areas of the site, they are coded as 00, unless the great majority came from one area. The catalog number is written on the back of each coding sheet. These ceramic attributes were recorded in 1980.
