Thurston

Thurston, Msv 1-2, is an Oneida site located in Stockbridge Township, Madison Co. It has been suggested that this is the site of Onneyuttehage visted by Van den Bogaert in 1634. Sample = 61 (Theodroe Whitney of New Berlin and Fred Chesebro of Sherburne = 34, Colgate Univ. = 15, Howard Lemery of Knoxboro, NY = 10, Mrs. Thurston of Sherrill = 2). These ceramic attributes were recorded in 1969.
