The identification and use of available plant resources by prehistoric peoples in the Dolores Project area is the focus of Problem Domain 1 in the DAP research design (Kane et al. 1983). Pollen analysis may address this concern for Grass Mesa by examining the relative abundance of pollen obtained from various proveniences.
