Research on the Anémone shipwreck was conducted between 2015 - 2019 as part of the first multi-annual underwater archaeology excavation that took place in the French West Indies. The objectives of this excavation focused on the study of shipbuilding but also on the material culture of a French Naval schooner. This symposium aims to present the result with contributions of colleagues on the goals and methods of the multi year excavation, historical background of the wreck and crew, shipbuilding of a naval schooner, material culture study results, specific structure cases study as sheathing, rudder, ordinance and balast as well as photogrametry means and contribution.
