Summary

At the request of CH2M HILL, International Archaeological Research Institute, Inc. (IARII) has prepared an Archaeological Monitoring Plan (AMP) for a proposed undertaking at Bellows Air Force Station (BAFS), O'ahu.

The AMP is prepared according to the requirements and specifications of the Statement of Work prepared by CH2M HILL and the contract letter scope-of-work prepared by IARII. It is also written within the framework of The Treatment of Archaeological Properties (Advisory Council on Historic Preservation 1980) and the Draft Cultural Resource Management Plan for BAFS. In the AMP, the proposed actions are referred to as the "undertaking" and the archaeological monitoring and related actions (including report preparation) are referred to as the "project."
