AN ANALYSIS OF POLLEN FROM 5MTUMR 2837, MANCOS CANYON, COLORADO
Author(s): Linda J. Scott
Year: 1977
Summary
Site 5MTUMR 2837 is a PII to PIlI transition site in Mancos Canyon located approximately 4 miles southwest of the confluence of Mancos and Johnson Canyon. The site lies approximately 130 meters north of the Mancos River. Six features were sampled within the site, all associated with occupation levels. It was hoped that analysis of these samples would provide data concerning the function of the rooms sampled and environmental data for comparison with other sites which have been sampled in the Mancos Canyon.
