Summary
Three pollen samples were collected from site 39SH68 during an
archaeological survey in Badlands National Park, South Dakota. Analysis of
these samples was undertaken to address the feasibility of future pollen
studies in this area. The samples were collected from the upper and lower
fills of Feature 1, a hearth, and a paleosol.
