Summary
A single fire pit in Dinosaur National Monument was excavated and 8.9
liters of fill floated for macrofloral analysis. This hearth yielded a
radiocarbon age of 3500 ± 70 BP. Macrofloral analysis was conducted to
determine whether the hearth contained any information concerning vegetal
food processing.
