Summary
Samples from three hearths at Site 48SU1753 in southwest Wyoming were
examined for charred macrofloral remains. This site appears to be a
multicomponent site, with radiocarbon dates ranging from 4280 + 70 BP to 1500 +
50 BP. Macrofloral analysis is used to determine wood burned as fuel and
possible plants processed in these hearths.
