Summary
Soil samples and an asphaltum sample from Sites CA-SBA-671 and CA-SBA-677 on
Vandenberg Air Force Base in California were analyzed for macrofloral remains. These sites
represent coastal dune bluff sites overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Macrofloral analysis is used
to provide information concerning possible plant resources that may have been utilized at
these sites.
