Summary
Seven soil samples from K088-3, an island in the Snake River, were examined for pollen
and phytoliths. The purpose of this study was to recover pollen and phytolith records and assess
them for their ability to reconstruct past vegetation. The samples were collected stratigraphically
from depths ranging from 94 inches to the surface.
