Summary
Bulk sediment and detrital charcoal samples from along the Upper Gila River in Duncan
Valley, southeastern Arizona, were floated to recover organic fragments suitable for AMS
radiocarbon dating. Botanic components and detrital charcoal were identified, and potentially
radiocarbon datable material was separated.
