Summary
Four samples from sites 48SW13242 and 48SW7933 in southwest Wyoming were
submitted for charcoal identification. Site 48SW13242 is a small, intense open camp, while
48SW7933 is a large, intense occupation site. Charcoal from 48SW13242 yielded an uncalibrated
radiocarbon age of 1860 ± 40 BP, and an uncalibrated radiocarbon age of 1270 ± 40 BP was
returned for charcoal from 48SW7933.
