Summary
Five detrital charcoal samples from along the Sprague River in southern Oregon were
identified prior to radiocarbon analysis. A single bulk soil sample from along Miller Creek was
floated to recover organic fragments suitable for radiocarbon analysis. Botanic components and
detrital charcoal were identified, and potentially radiocarbon datable material was separated.
