Author(s): Linda Scott Cummings

Year: 2004

Summary

Eighteen pollen samples were collected from three trenches at Waiakula Fishpond on the

south shore of O'ahu, Hawai'i. This possible fishpond ·was defined by coral-based walls and

probably was used in the AD 1400-1600s. The pollen record is a compilation of samples collected

from several trenches in an effort to examine a stratigraphic sequence representing accumulation

over time.
