Summary
A single Plainview projectile point was recovered at site 34BV177 in Beaver County,
Oklahoma. This point had washed out of a block of soil in a cutbank of Beaver Creek. Burned
bison bone and a mammoth skull were located nearby. The projectile point was analyzed for the
presence of protein residues to determine animals that might have been hunted.
