Author(s): Linda Scott Cummings; Kathryn Puseman; Cynthia Adkins; R.A. Varney
Year: 2004
Summary
Pollen and macrofloral samples were collected from two sites located approximately 50
miles north-northeast of Las Vegas, Nevada. Sites 26CK192 and 26CK194/1893 represent
Anasazi occupations associated with a rockshelter and the head of a deep box canyon. Pollen
and macrofloral samples were examined to identify subsistence activities at these sites, as well
as to compare subsistence activities between the sites.
