A tubular pipe recovered from a house floor in the Umpqua Basin was submitted to PaleoResearch Institute for removal of residue on the interior of the pipe and subsequent microscopic
examination in an effort to identify botanics burned or smoked in the pipe. The site (350061) is
located along the North Umpqua River.
