Summary

Sixteen pollen and phytolith samples were examined from the North Family Lot Site,

33WA407, in Warren County, Ohio. The site, occupying approximately four acres, was part of

a Union Village Shaker community from the beginning of the nineteenth century through the

early twentieth century. Pollen and phytolith analyses were conducted to document land use

within specific locations that will contribute to understanding overall land use patterns at the

site.
