Author(s): Linda Scott Cummings; Jaime Dexter
Year: 2006
Summary
The Cul-de-Sac Site, 48SW13648, is a prehistoric camp in Sweetwater County,
Wyoming. Six radiocarbon dates, ranging from 1540 to 1900 BP, were obtained from hearth
features at the site and indicate at least two occupations dating to the Uinta Phase of the Late
Prehistoric period. Four pollen samples were recovered from individual hearths in order to
determine possible plant resources available to occupants of the site.
