Summary
Samples from a shallow living surface and a storage cist at the Plain View Site,
42Ws1809, were analyzed for macrofloral remains. This site represents a late Pueblo I period
site in Washington County, southwest Utah, based on ceramic and radiocarbon dating. The
site appears to have experienced at least two occupation episodes. Macrofloral analysis is
used to provide subsistence information concerning plant resources utilized by the site
occupants.
