Cultural Resources Survey of the Henry Tecklenburg Boulevard Extension Project
Author(s): Ralph Bailey; Pat Hendrix
Year: 2002
Summary
Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted an intensive cultural resources survey of a 4.84
acre proposed extension of Henry Tecklenburg Boulevard in Charleston County, South Carolina in
July 2002. The project corridor is located at the junction of SC Route 61 Expressway and Magwood
Drive. Archaeologists conducted a systematic examination of the project tract following guidelines
established by the SCDAH (2000). We recovered no artifacts and encountered no intact cultural
deposits or features. We recommend no further management considerations of the project corridor
with regard to cultural resources.
