Author(s): Peter Kováčik
Year: 2013
Summary
Four bulk soil samples from Sites TR1 and TR4 near the Taylor Park Reservoir, were floated to recover organic fragments suitable for radiocarbon age determination. These samples were recovered from a bank cut in a terrace and a lower terrace along the Taylor River, Colorado. Botanic components and charcoal were identified, and potentially radiocarbon datable material was separated. Two radiocarbon dates were obtained on charcoal recovered from these samples.
