Archaeological Investigations: Salt River Project Coronado Generating Station, Private Lands, Apache County, Arizona: Final Report for Subsidiary Archaeological Investigations Associated with the Coronado Generating Station

Author(s): James E. Bradford

Year: 1975

Summary

During the period of September 1974 and March 1975, the Museum of Northern Arizona, at the request of Salt River Project, conducted various archaeological surveys on private lands being considered for development in association with the Coronado Generating Station plant site and related facilities. In all, 22 drill hole locations and one tract of land scheduled for construction of a stock watering tank were investigated to determine the presence of any archaeological materials which might be impacted. These areas were found to be clear of archaeological remains and archaeological clearance is recommended for their development.
