Summary

In 1993 Parsons, then Engineering-Science, Inc. performed an archaeological survey at the Prime Readiness in Base Services (RIBS) project area on the Lackland Air Force Base Training Annex. Artifacts were recovered during the survey, and the results were presented in a report entitled “Archaeological Survey at the Prime RIBS Training Area, Lackland Training Annex, Bexar County, Texas.” Arrangements for the permanent curation and transfer of the collection upon completion of the project were never finalized. The collection was housed in the archaeological laboratory at Parsons prior to the transfer of our group to Versar, Inc. Per arrangement with John Wildie, Lackland AFB, Versar, Inc. is transmitting the collection to the University of Texas at San Antonio Center for Archaeological Research for permanent curation.
