Building 400 is an “S” Structure designed and constructed 1954-1955 at what was then the Medina Base National Stockpile Site (NSS). The Medina Base was built by the Atomic Energy Commission and the Armed Forces Special Weapons Project 1954-55 as one of thirteen installations where nuclear weapons components were stored, maintained and assembled.
