This architectural and historical documentation on Building 377 is part of a collection of survey documents of Significant Historic American Buildings at Fort Sam Houston.
Building 377, the Scale House, has been determined eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places under national register Criteria A. Built in 1942, the structure was originally constructed as a Scale House. The structure was later abandoned and has not been used for some time. The structure represents the expansion of Fort Sam Houston to meet the wartime needs of the installation.
