"On the origin of carbonised cereal grain in prehistoric settlements: an alternative interpretation"

This is an English translation of a German article focusing on prehistoric carbonized cereal grain. ln the analysis of samples of carbonized seeds from prehistoric sites, the regular presumption is that these are the productof cereal or food processing. This paper presents the results of an extended series of trials which explore an alternative source of this type of evidence.
