Summary
This report presents the results of the Section 110 inventory and National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) evaluations of sites on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) property at the Painted Rock Reservoir in southwestern Maricopa County, Arizona.
The goals of this project were to conduct a Class I overview of 5,040 acres of fee-title land administered by the USACE at the reservoir and a Class III survey of 373 acres of these 5,040 acres where pedestrian survey was feasible and productive. Condition assessments, NRHP evaluations, and spatial data are provided for 3 previously recorded sites and 4 newly recorded sites encountered during the Class III survey. This ARRA funded Task Order employed 69 specialists.
