Cultural Resource Survey of the Alvarado Parcel, Casa Grande, Pinal County, Arizona

Summary

Reliant Energy has acquired an option to purchase a 40-acre parcel known as the Alvarado property. Reliant is conducting “due diligence” studies that will be considered in deciding whether to purchase the property as a potential industrial development site. Reliant retained URS Corporation to assist in those studies by conducting a Phase 1 environmental site assessment, determining whether there are jurisdictional waters of the United States on the property, evaluating whether special status biological resources are present, and conducting an intensive cultural resource survey.
