Summary

The intention of archaeological monitoring and sampling was to determine the presence or absence of cultural resources within the project area, to assess the nature and chronology of the features/sites identified, to ensure the collection of sufficient archaeological materials, and to assess the significance of identified resources. One archaeological site, Site 50-80-15-4857, is in the vicinity of the project area and is considered eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places.
