Summary
Northland Research, Inc. (Northland) was contracted by Salt River Project (SRP) to perform a Class III cultural resources survey (Arizona Antiquities Act Permit 96-61-BL) of a portion of the Hayden to Coolidge Power Line which crosses through the known boundaries of the prehistoric Hohokam Grewe site (AZ AA:2:2[ASM]). The survey was conducted on a 500 ft (152 m) long by 66 ft (20 m) wide stretch of land, covering .23 acres, located north of Coolidge, Arizona. The work was conducted on 23 May 1996 by Kyle Woodson and John Marshall and involved .5 person days of labor.
