Summary

The Texas Historical Commission received and reviewed documentation submitted by Fort Sam Houston for the proposed plan to adaptively use Building 70, a general storehouse, for shower and latrine facilities. The building was constructed in 1916 as a shop and carriage house and is constructed in brick. The Commission does not concur with the determination of "no adverse effect" and have serious concerns about the proposal.

Copied to this correspondence is David Brigham (Cultural Resource Manager, FSH), Mike Hilger (Historical Architect, FSH) and Sallie Buchanan (President, SACS).
