Response from Brian Miller to Claudia Nissley, Off-Street Parking Areas, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas

Author(s): Brian L. Miller

Year: 1996

Summary

There was verbal consultation between Randolph Air Force Base and the staff of the Texas SHPO concerning the construction of perpendicular parking lots in Duplex Housing. A disagreement over the determination of effect and the required submittal of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) resulted. Randolph Air Force Base believes that a determination of No Adverse Effect is more appropriate and consistent; therefore, in accordance with 36 CFR Part 800.5(d)(ii), Randolph exercises its option to submit the Section 106 review directly to the Council for their comments.

Copied to this correspondence is Curtis Tunnell (Texas State Historic Preservation Office) and Jack Siegel (HQ AETC/CEPN).
