Summary
This research design addresses a required archeological compliance project on the Army Research Laboratory (ARL), and is associated with the proposed construction of a building and a parking lot. The action is located on ARL's White Oak Laboratory immediately north of the 1-95, Capital Beltway near Silver Spring, Maryland. The facility is owned by the United States Government. The project area consists of approximately 16 acres. This research design is being developed by and field study will be performed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE).
